Let's Celebrate!

Dear Reader,

At the onset of my blogging experience I feel it necessary to explain my blogspot title "Daily Celebration!"

My quiet little life in Northern New York would seem pretty ho-hum to the ordinary eye: married, mother of four, stays at home, cooks and cleans (when I can), picks up toys, does the laundry, plays with kids, reads some stories, kisses boo-boos, sings some songs, ......................
all things that are pretty normal for the average 27-year-old American homemaker.

To most people it may seem like I don't have much to celebrate; my life is pretty mundane. I stay in the home most days, venturing out only for groceries and doctor's appointments. I don't do anything too exciting (unless you consider changing a dozen diapers a-day adventurous!). But, for me, I have everything to celebrate.

All thanks to my loving Savior Jesus Christ who so mercifully has rescued me from sin and has called me His own forevermore! It is His sacrifice that I celebrate!

Blessed be His name now and forever because He looks on me with mercy and love, not leaving me to die in sin, as I deserve! It is His love that I celebrate!

Glory be to my King for His righteousnessness and power are sufficient to conquer any problem that this world has set upon us! It is His rule and reign that I celebrate!

Praise and honor to the One who is able to so faithfully redeem and heal us completely, restoring us to a place of wholeness and righteousness through Him! It is His healing that I celebrate!

Thanksgiving to my generous Provider, who gives me all that I could ever need and desire! It is His abundance that I celebrate!

It is God and all that He has done and continues to do; these are the things that demand my Daily Celebration!

So, I will continue to celebrate each and every day, looking to Jesus for meaning and discovering the goodness He pours out on my life. And, dear reader, now you understand how my wonderful little boring life here in small-town America is certainly one worth celebrating!

Celebrating all that Jesus is,

Sarah D.
